Marquis Armwood, Ph.D

My name is Marquis and I'm a mathematician, father of 2 little ones and a husband. I'm also a first generation American Decedent of Slavery (ADOS)/Foundational Black American (FBA).  Additionally, I'm an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the College of Arts & Sciences at Oklahoma City University.  I received my PhD in Mathematics in 2025, from North Dakota State University - my advisor was Dr. Josef Dorfmeister.  My current interests are in mathematics, coding and education.
